To use your cell phone in The Bahamas, it must be on the GSM network. Check with your provider. You'll likely be charged for international roaming, so rent a GSM phone before leaving home.

There's no charge for up to two pieces of hand luggage, nor for small bags or packages. Handling each additional piece of regular-sized luggage costs 75¢, and large duffel bags and boxes are $1 each.
